Marjorie L. Smith

Marjorie L. Smith, age 78, of Eaton, OH, passed away Wednesday morning June 26, 2013. Born in West Alexandria, OH, she was a daughter of the late Clarence & Molissie (McCarty) Shiflett, She retired after 11 ½ years from Parker Hannifin in Eaton, and later worked in the Housekeeping Department for Heartland of Eaton. She loved to watch and listen to the Trinity Broadcasting Network: enjoyed fishing, board games, card games and game shows. Margie will best be remembered as a loving and caring person with a big heart who never knew a stranger and was a friend to all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by grandson Ryan Straszheim: great grandson Terry Joe Bailey, Jr.: and sister Bernice Reed. Survived by children Terri Elliott of Georgetown, KY; Danny "Joe" Straszheim, Ronald Straszheim, Michael Straszheim, Bonnie Holsapple, Bradley Straszheim & wife Tammy all of Eaton: 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren: brother Donald Shiflett & wife Diana of Eaton: and sister Shirley Grover of West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
