Marie C. Mullins

Marie C. Mullins, 99, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away Thursday evening, October 12, 2017. Born September 9, 1918 in Fisty, KY, she was the oldest of 10 children born to the late Robert and Pollyann (Hurt) Combs. Marie retired in December of 1980 from the Inland Division of General Motors, Third Street Plant. She was preceded in death on October 31, 2005 by beloved husband Earl W. Mullins, whom she married January 9, 1942; parents Robert and Pollyann Combs; brothers and sisters Shelby Combs, Anna Lee Combs, Grace Frills, Vernon Combs, Ruby Baker, Alma Greene, Daphne Stamper and Venita Combs. A loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Marie is survived by son and daughter-in-law John Alan and Ruth Mullins of West Alexandria; grandsons John Dawson Mullins and Brad West, both of West Alexandria; great granddaughter Jasmine West; sister Juanita Kintz of Dayton, OH, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Tuesday, October17, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
