Marie V. Gartrell

Marie V. Gartrell, age 82 of Eaton, OH passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday March 21, 2017. Born January 31, 1935 she was a daughter to the late Cora (Hartman) and Thomas Mann. Marie enjoyed fishing, cooking and was a wonderful baker. It has been said that she made the best fudge and peanut butter buckeyes in all of Preble county. Above all, she was a die-hard Cincinnati Reds fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband Rodney Gartrell, and brother Paul Beebe. Survived by her sons Terry L. & Joni Gartrell of Camden, OH; Rick L. & Deb Gartrell of Eaton; Todd D. & Patsy Gartrell of Eaton; Randy C. & Kathleen Gartrell of Eaton: sisters Edy Hannah of Ft. Wayne, IN; Rita Hannah of FL; Anna Mae Hanley of FL: brother Joe Roonie of Eaton: grandchildren Amber Michael, Hannah Gartrell, and Gabby Gartrell: 2 great-grandchildren: special friends Wanda Ward, Jim & Becky Lowman, Lois McGennis & Family and Merna Meyers: along with many more family members and friends. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
