Margaret E. Fox, age 93 of Greenville, Ohio passed away Thursday evening, March 10, 2016. Born November 02, 1922 she was a daughter to the late Harley & Mary ( Bowman) Ross. Margaret was active with the Preble County Girl Scouts, serving as President of "Treaty Line Council" for several years; she also started The Darke County Widowed Persons organization, and served as President working many hours each month planning special events, inviting guest speakers for seminars; and composing a news letter for members. She was a member of a local sorority; and enjoyed the activities and friendships. Margaret was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren; and later in life moved to the Brethren Retirement Community where she enjoyed the company of family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; she will truly be missed by those who loved her. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff of The Brethren Retirement Community for the kindness and sensitive care given to our mother for many years. In addition to her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Roy L. Fox whom she married on January 25, 1941: infant son: daughters Carolyn Harvey and Judy Burcham; and sister Virginia Ross. Survived by children Connie ( Everett) Blankenship of West Alexandria, OH; Jim ( Judy) Fox of Mesa, AZ; Tom (Sue) Fox of Lewis Center, OH; Neil Fox of Lewisburg, OH; Donna (Jim) Edsall of Greenville, OH; Brenda (John) Fox of St. Augustine, FL: son-in-law Marvin Burcham of West Alexandria: 16 grandchildren: 25 great-grandchildren: 4 great-great grandchildren: brother Donald ( Iris) Ross of Celina, OH: as well as many more family members and friends.
