Margaret J. Beck, age 79, of New Lebanon OH, passed away Tuesday morning, April 26, 2011 at the New Lebanon Care and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Born October 29, 1931 in McKeesport, PA, she was a daughter to the late Charles C. & Lilly M. (Kelly) Walsh. Margaret was a kind and loving person who touched the hearts of so many people with her sparkling eyes and warm smile. She always did for others and will be remembered as the lady who baked cookies for everybody. She was a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton and had retired after 25+ years from Baxter (Dayton Flexible Products) in Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister Cecilia Kammerer. Survived by children Edward D. Beck & wife Robin of New Lebanon; Sandra M. Cobaugh & husband Craig of New Lebanon; Alva S. Mann of Dayton: grandchildren Edward Dan Beck, Jr.; Terry Lutz, Jr.; Trinity Lutz; Natalie Hamilton & husband Sam; Kyler Carlile; Ryan Powers & wife Candice; and Crystal Gibbs: 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild: brother Charles D. Walsh & wife Marion of McKeesport, PA: sister Judy Stienmier & husband Duane of New Stanton, PA: dear and special niece Diane Santillo & husband Keith: and Margaret's little companion, Zipper. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, May 2, 2011 at Visitation Catholic Church - 407 E. Main St. - Eaton, OH. Father Thomas Fitzsimmons presiding. Friends may call on the family from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday, May 1, at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
