M. Raymond Turner

M. Raymond Turner, 64, of Union City, IN, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 following a short illness. Born February 18, 1952, he was a son of the late Ernest & Runa Mae (Rutledge) Turner. Raymond worked for over 20 years for Greenville Technology, Inc. And had previously worked as a mechanic for Aukerman Service Center in Union City (Ohio). He was affiliated with the First Brethren Church in West Alexandria, OH, the Full Gospel Temple in Eaton, OH, and the Grace Brethren Community Church in West Alexandria. He enjoyed fishing, camping and tinkering with cars. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters and brother Janet Slusser, Roger Turner, and Emily Gingerich: daughter Susan Agee on February 28, 2015. Survived by wife Ruby G. (McMurray) Turner whom he married January 10, 1981: children Matthew (Jennifer) Turner of Eaton; Sherry Turner (Don Somers) of Eaton; Sheri (Mike) Tackett of Eaton; Teresa (James) Catlett of Booneville, AR: grandchildren Rachel Turner, Macie Turner, Joshua Turner, Destiny Turner, Harley Howard, Alexie Brown, Phillip Tackett, Chris Tackett, Megan Tackett, Kristen Catlett, Nick Hawley, Brittany Hawley, Stephanie Sperry: sisters Victoria Rader and Ernestine Ditmer both of Eaton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
