Louise Spoonmore

Louise Spoonmore, 77, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, November 14, 2011, following a lengthy illness. Born in Jackson, KY, she was a daughter of the late Omer & Audra (Thorpe) Jennings. She was the owner and operator of Louise's Beauty Salon on Main Street in New Lebanon from 1960 - 1985. An active member of the New Lebanon community, Louise enjoyed playing softball with the Montgomery County Ladies Softball League. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son Ronald Spoonmore, Sr. on September 1, 2011; and by sister Kathy French. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Louise is survived by husband William Harvey Spoonmore, whom she married December 1, 1951: daughters Deborah Norman of Centerville, OH and Pamela Spoonmore of New Lebanon: daughter-in-law Linda Spoonmore of Carlisle, OH: grandsons Ronald Spoonmore, Jr. of New Lebanon; Brian Norman & wife Kathryn of Centerville; Christopher Norman of Miami, FL and Jason Norman of Centerville: step granddaughter Adeena Patrick & husband Terry of Carlisle, OH: great grandchildren Linley and Laila Spoonmore of New Lebanon, Jackson and Anna Norman of Centerville: brothers Clarence Jennings & wife Pat of Phoenix, AZ, Edgar Jennings & wife Brenda of New Lebanon: sister Sharon Spicer of West Alexandria: brother-in-law Jerry French of New Lebanon: numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria; with the funeral service beginning at 12:30 PM. Pastor Doug Bottles will officiate.
