Lou V. Goins

Lou V. Goins, age 92 passed away peacefully to meet her Lord and Savior, and to join her husband on Thursday August 14, 2014, at Reid Hospital, following a brief illness . Born April 17, 1922 in Scott County, VA she was daughter of the late Norman and Sarah Booher. Lou graduated from Hilton High School in Virginia, where she loved to play basketball and was a member of the women's basketball team. She was very proud to have served with the US Army during WW II. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on February 16, 2006 by husband of 59 years Everett K Goins: as well as several brothers and sisters. Lou is survived by her 3 children Charles Goins, Terry & Cindy Goins and Teresa Goins: grandchildren Robin Johnson, Samantha Fledderjohann, Sarah Amelung, C-J Goins, Mindy Lindsay and Aaron Crutcher: 11 great-grandchildren :Siblings Vilas, Jane and Bob Goins.
