Loretta B Shumard

Loretta B. Shumard, age 77 of Piqua, OH passed away Friday afternoon August 22, 2014 at Piqua Monor, Piqua, OH. Born on November 17, 1936, she was the daughter to the late Ulace and Gladys (Neanover) O'Dell. Loretta retired from Troy Sunshade as a Sewing Machine Operater after several years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as sisters Verna Siler; Geneva O'Dell and brother Duane O'Dell. Loretta is survived by daughters Penny Wendel; Carla (Henry) Lawrence; Jeanelle (Paul) Felix and Cheryl (Todd) Brannon: grandchildren Brittany (Justyn) Pilkington; Brooke Combs; Turner Wendel; Corey Werner; Nelson (Bonita) Werner; Whitney Lawrence; Brent Davidson; Brian Tiffany; Jessica Smith; Steven Chevrie; Charla (Wayne) Wilson; Tara (Brian) Crittenden and Amanda Brannon: 6 great-grandchildren: brothers Llyod O'Dell and Melvin (Linda) O'Dell and sister Ellen (Mike) Marcho. Family and friends may call on the family on Tuesday August 26, 2014 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
