Loren D. Mckee

Loren D. McKee, 86, of West Alexandria, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018. He was born December 27, 1931 in Preble County to the late Clarence and Sadie (Poffenburger) McKee. Loren was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired plumber after many years of service. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and meeting with friends at The Midway in Lewisburg for coffee. In addition to his parents, Loren was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna; and siblings, Lowell McKee, Mary Bergeron, Merrill McKee, Raymond McKee, and Mervin McKee. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Patrick Thrasher of Yorba Linda, California; grandchildren, Joshua and Sydnee Thrasher; siblings, Donald McKee of West Alexandria, Virgil McKee of Columbus, Vera Bruns of Richmond, Indiana, and Larry McKee of Eaton; and a plethora of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 18 from 11AM to 1PM at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens- 3377 US Route 35- West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 1PM with Pastor Jeff Travis officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens.
