Linda Gross

Linda Marsha Gross, age 46, of Eaton, OH, passed away suddenly on Monday morning, August 8, 2011. Born October 22, 1964, she was a daughter of Shirrell D. & Nannie Lou (Haney) Whicker. A 1983 graduate of Dixie High School in New Lebanon, she formerly worked at Canterbury Care Center in New Lebanon. She was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church in Eaton. Preceded in death by her father in 1991, mother in 1992, and sister Helen Grover in 2003. Marsha was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by husband of 26 years Barry K. Gross, whom she married December 15, 1984: children Amy Crum & husband Ronnie of West Virginia; Matthew Gross of Vandalia, OH; Christina Stearman of Eaton; Danielle Gross & companion Joshua Garner of West Manchester, OH; Lois Gross of Eaton; Barry Gross, Jr. of Eaton; and Emily Gross of Eaton: grandchildren Trace and Josephine Crum, Matthew, Jr. and Jozie Gross, Skyler Stearman, Adalyn Casteel, and one grandchild on the way: sister and brothers Colleen Breeding of Eaton; Wendell Whicker of Richmond, IN; and James Whicker of New Lebanon: a host of other family and numerous friends. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 12 at Memorial Baptist Church - 1307 E. Main Street - Eaton, OH. Stanley Arnold and Bill Maupin will officiate.
