Linda S. Driscoll

69, of Dayton, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 11, 2023.

She was born April 8, 1954, in Dayton, to the late Wilmer C. and Janet L. (Stager) Horn.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her daughters, Chrissy Smith and Rebecca Rhea; and brothers, Donald and Benjamin Horn.

She is survived by her son, Richie Rhea; grandchildren, Josh, Richie Jr, Diamond, and Michael; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Gale (Chuck) Kilbarger, Debra (Gary) Ashley, and Wilmer (Ronda) Horn II; and many more family and friends.

Linda had been a devoted member of the Union Pentecostal Church, until her illness kept her from attending.  She was a woman of deep faith who found solace in reading her Bible and attending church services. Her unwavering devotion to God, and kind and gentle spirit, inspired many.  In her free time, Linda enjoyed watching videos with her youngest nephew, whose laughter brought her great joy. She also loved spending time with her son and other family members at cookouts, where she could be found chatting and laughing with her loved ones.

The visitation will be held Thursday, May 18 from 11AM to 12PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381.  The funeral service will begin at 12PM with Pastor Clifford Hurst officiating.  Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
