Lewis E. Ross

89, of Dayton, passed into God’s care Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

He was born April 13, 1933 in Tipp City, to the late Murel Sr. and Cora (Patterson) Ross.

In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by his siblings, Victor Ross, Murel Ross Jr., and June Austin.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Suzanne Ross; son, Lewis Tyson (Rosalie) Ross; daughter, Kara (Dan) Frye; grandchildren, Lewis and Tressa Ross; and many more family and friends.

Lewis was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict.  He was a Freemason and Past Master at Dayton Lodge #147, and MSA recipient in the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton.  He retired from Bell Telephone, attended Happy Corner Church of the Brethren, and had been a USO volunteer for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lewis's name to Hospice of Dayton, The Gospel Mission in Dayton, or Shriners Children's Ohio
