Laura M Davis

Laura M. Davis, 92, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away early Friday morning March 6, 2015. Born June 2, 1922 in Jellico Creek, KY, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence & Besse B. (Richardson) Davenport. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in New Lebanon where she had been a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class and had volunteered for VBS. She enjoyed flower gardening and yard work. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Ralph Davis in 1983: sons Glen Davis in 2010 and Eddie Davis in 2004: brothers Edgar, Charles, Elmer and Raymond Davenport: sisters Opal Davenport and Jewel Selvage. Survived by daughters Carolyn Jones of New Lebanon and Linda (Larry) Kilmer of Brookville: grandchildren Natalie (Todd) Bowerman, Emily (Sam) Huwer, Laura (Josh Taylor) McCloud and Bradley Davis: great grandchildren Alice Taylor, Travis Bowerman, Justin Huwer and Lindsey Huwer: special daughter-in-law Kathy Davis of NC: and sister Donna "Betty" Williams of FL.
