Kenneth Phelps

Kenneth L. Phelps, age 72, of Lewisburg, OH, passed away on Saturday morning, February 5, 2011 following an extended illness. Born March 10, 1938 in Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late Roy & Lucille (Moyer) Phelps. He worked in the trucking industry as a diesel mechanic, truck and bus driver, and had also farmed for a number of years. He served in the Army National Guard from 1955 - 1958. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by beloved wife Barbara (Mt.Castle) Phelps on December 24, 2003. Survived by sons Kenneth R. Phelps & wife Amy of Lewisburg; and Kyle E. Phelps of West Alexandria: grandchildren Tyler, Ethan, Landon and Mackaylee Phelps: sister Joyce Gilbert & husband Ernest of Bainbridge, OH. A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2011 at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery, West Alexandria. Pastor David Justis presiding. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L.
