Keith Eugene Grimme

Keith Eugene Grimme, of Gratis, OH, passed away Wednesday morning, April 26, 2017 at the age of 73. Born September 8, 1943, he was the son of the late George and Leona (Jackson) Grimme. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years Geloria G. (Patrick) Grimme on February 14, 1999. Keith is survived by his wife of 16 years, Gladys M (Lewis) Grimme; children Pamela Brandt and husband Craig, Kevin Grimme, Ron Shanefelt and wife Betty, and Marcia Campbell and husband Norm; grandchildren Amber, Justin, Cayne, Lucus, Roy, Phillip, Melanie and Ronnie; 11 great grandchildren; numerous other family members and close friends; along with special friends from Flora Campground, Oak Harbor and Rex's Country Music. Keith retired from Chrysler Corporation of Dayton after 30 years of service. He was active in various masonic organizations, including the Camden Masonic Lodge # 159 since 1973, where he was a past master and had served in numerous positions. He was a Royal Arch Mason, member of the Scottish Rite of Dayton and the Knights Templar. He was also a member of the Apache Bowhunters, the OBA and the NRA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH, with Pastor Sam Reed officiating. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Masonic services beginning at 7:40 PM. Burial Fairview Cemetery, Gratis.
