Karon Ann Saunders

age 74, of Eldorado, OH., passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Reid Health, in Richmond, IN., after fighting a long illness. She had her husband of 58 years by her side. She was born in Charleston, W.V. on July 25, 1949 to the late Robert and Deloris (Smith) Jett of Cross Lanes, West Virginia.

She graduated from Richmond High School and went on to work several different jobs around the area. 13 years at Ohio Plate Glass, 13 years for C.R. Coblentz, National Trail Local Schools as a bus driver. She worked several years at Kroger in Richmond in the deli and as a cake decorator.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two sisters; Sharon (Jett) France and Carolyn (Jett) Ice. She is survived by her loving husband; Kenneth R. Saunders, daughters; Mary Ann (Jeff) Gioscio of Zionsville, IN., Kathy (Cleve IV) Wilson of Northwood, OH., Kelly (Robert) Childs of Fleming Island, FL., along with 9 grandchildren that were her pride and joy; Noah, Jonah Gioscio (Mary Ann), Cleve V, Kenny, Kaden, Claire Wilson (Kathy), Alexa, Emery, Ethan Childs (Kelly), and one great granddaughter; Ellie Wilson (Cleve V), and two sisters and one brother who she loved dearly; Charlotte Welch, Sheryl Brown and Wayne Jett. She was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews. She was always there for everyone and always made you laugh. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, with her funeral service starting promptly at 1:00PM. Burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, but if you prefer a donation, please donate to the American Diabetes Association in her name.
