58, of Eaton, peacefully went Home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, Saturday, September 21, 2024.

She was born August 24, 1966, in Dayton, to Carl and Julia (Thompson) Jones.

Judy was preceded in death by her dad, Carl, and siblings, Curtis Jones, Shanitta Adams, Karla Jones, Karl Jones, Randy Jones, and Steve Jones.

She is survived by her mom, Julia Jones; children, Jamie (Jack) Barker, Mark (Mariah) Schaffer, Lisa (Travis) Herron, and Cody (Melissa) Schaffer; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brilyn, Braelyn, Hayden, Ashlen, Noah, Mark Jr., Jason, Samuel, Joy, Allainna, and Kaylen; great grandchildren, Rynleigh and Laelyn; siblings, Wayne Jones, Nina Hoff, Tim Jones, and Scott Jones, and Montana Jones; and her beloved dog, Lucky.

Judy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid bingo player, her competitive yet playful nature shining through every time she sat down with her cards. Whether she won or lost, it was the company and the fun that she treasured most.

She also had a special love for puzzles, spending countless hours carefully piecing together beautiful pictures, just as she did with the relationships in her life—bringing together people, memories, and moments that created a masterpiece of love and warmth.

Judy had a voice that could light up a room, and she loved sharing it with others through karaoke. Whether singing her favorite oldies or belting out a country tune, her passion for music was infectious, and her performances will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to sing along with her.

One of her greatest joys was fishing with her son at Hueston Woods. Those peaceful days by the water were filled with laughter, stories, and moments of quiet reflection—memories they both will forever hold dear. The bond they shared was undeniable, and their time together was a testament to the deep love she had for her family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 26 from 11AM to 1PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, West Alexandria.  The funeral service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Raymond Rothwell officiating and burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
