Joseph C. Hartfelder

87 of New Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ed Hartfelder, Marian Brown, and Helen Raley.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Hartfelder; children, Katherine (Gary) Alcorn, Michael (Sherry) Hartfelder, David Hartfelder, Stephen (Judith) Hartfelder, and Joseph (Paige) Hartfelder Jr.; grandchildren, Cassondra Hartfelder, Nicole Mitchell, Michael Hartfelder Jr., Andrew Alcorn, Matthew Hartfelder, Zachary Alcorn, Katelyn Alcorn, Brandon Hartfelder, Jeffrey Hartfelder, and Adam Hartfelder; 7 great grandchildren; special niece, Lyn Hurley; and many more family and friends.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was stationed in Alaska before it was a state.  Joseph retired from Reynolds and Reynolds after 43 years of service, enjoyed playing cards games such as pinocle, and played many different sports when he was younger.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 21 from 1-2PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US 35 East, West Alexandria 45381.  The funeral service will begin at 2PM with entombment to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Mausoleum, West Alexandria.
