John M. Hildebrand

80, of West Alexandria, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family, Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

He was born April 9, 1941 in Miami County, to the late Harold Hildebrand and Helen Hildebrand Morrison.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Hildebrand, and niece, Nicole Hildebrand.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Linda Hildebrand; son, John T. (Donna) Hildebrand; granddaughter, Hannah Lingg; and brothers, Jerry (Connie) and Ken Hildebrand.

John had been a supervisor in the water department with the City of Dayton for 30+ years before retiring.  During that time, he enjoyed trapshooting, bowling, and golfing with other colleagues.  John became interested in gunsmithing, liked to go camping, and had been an avid fisherman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
