John N. Zovak Jr.

Age 44, of Eaton, OH., passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born to John N. Zovak Sr. and Charlotte Irene Weherley in Richmond, IN on April 21, 1978.

John was very active in his community, he was on the Preble County Pork Festival Board, he was on the Rabbit Committee  for the Preble County Fair, as well as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Eaton for 10 years and was even the "bite dummy" for the South West Regional K9 Training Group. He enjoyed working with his hands building things and was a very patriotic man who loved his community. He would give the shirt off his back even if it left him with nothing. One of his favorite pastimes was being up to squirrelly business and shenanigans. He loved his family and friends.

John is preceded in death by his father. He leaves behind his loving wife; Melisa, his children; Crystal, Jasmine, Brett, Jolissa, Quinton and Johnathan, his mother; Charlotte (Terry) Pullon, his siblings; Mark (Melanie) Zovak, Melissa (Paul) Fraley, and Jim Pullon, his nieces and nephews; Kaylee, Madalyn, Kera, Ryan, Isabella, Victoria, Blake, Clay, Ronald, Brady, Bre, and Lari, along with his friends and family from The Eaton Place. He will be missed by those who knew him.

A visitation will be held for John on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (220 Wayne Trace Road), with a funeral service to begin promptly at 1:00PM with Bishop Keith Adams officiating. Burial to follow with procession to Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center to assist the family with services.
