John Glen Ritchie

John G. Ritchie, age 56, of Lewisburg, OH., passed peacefully at home with family on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was born in Pontiac, MI to Johnny Ritchie and Susan Caverly on June 23, 1966.

John enjoyed scrapping, and was always cleaning. He liked to fish and just be outdoors, and take trips with his family to Michigan and Tennessee and had fun getting lost on the way there. He was always making fire runs, and speaking of fire, having cookouts and events with family was his most favorite thing to do.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Kim, and his step-dad; Carl Tyson. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years; Susan,8 children; Amber (Josh) Schaffer, Jonathan Ritchie, Bryan Ritchie, Ashley (Eric) Whisnant, Brittany (Timmy) Shumaker, Crystal Ritchie, Steven (Leslie) Ritchie and Timothy Ritchie, 17 grandchildren, 4 brothers; Tim (Bridget) , Charlie (Jenny), Muggs and Rodney, a sister; Linda, a step-mom; Debbie Ritchie, numerous nieces and nephews, and two fur babies; Sassy and Smokey.

A visitation for John will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at First Baptist Church (1407 North Barron Street,  Eaton, OH 45320) with Pastor Andrew Stensaas officiating at 6:00PM. For condolences please visit: www.rlcfc.com
