John Vernon Collins

Age 66 of Eaton, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio went Home, to be with the Lord, on Tuesday April 2, 2024.

He was born March 1, 1958 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Raymond and Eva Jewell (Halcomb) Collins.

Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his sisters, Jackie (Ray) Brown and Judy Reynolds. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Angela; son, Ray Collins; grandchildren, Michael Collins, Kirsten Collins, Corbin Collins and Dominik Collins; brother, Jimmy Collins; sister, Joanie Collins-Wilson; and brother-in-law, Jerry Reynolds. He also leaves behind many more family and friends.

John proudly served in the United States Army. He was a long time EMT.  John enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years.  He also had a love for playing the guitar and singing.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 11AM at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery with Tim Suiter officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donation be made directly to the Funeral Home to help with expenses.
