Joanne E. Richards

Joanne E. Richards, 70, of West Alexandria, OH passed away early Monday morning, November 23, 2020 at her home. Born April 12, 1950 in Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mayanna (Martin) Nation. She formerly worked at Super America in Brookville and New Lebanon. She had also worked for House of Lloyd. Joanne enjoyed sewing, crochet, flower gardening, and loved to have her family nearby. She loved the cruises she was able to take over the years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Joey and David Nation. She is survived by her husband of 37 years Darryl J. Richards; children Angelina Nation of West Alexandria, James Michael Nation and wife Jennifer of Greenville, Joanne Elizabeth Phillips and husband Kevin of Eaton, and Donna Phelps and husband Kyle of West Alexandria; grandchildren Dustin Marshall, Dakota Phillips, Cheyenne Phillips and Dominic Phelps; great grandson Luke Phillips; sisters Linda McNew of New Madison, Roberta Hupp of Troy, Karen Evans of Greenville; and brother Paul Nation of Lewisburg. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 27, 2020 at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery - 3377 US Rt. 35, West Alexandria. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L.
