Joan Wilkinson

Joan Wilkinson, age 76, of Eaton, OH, passed away at her home on Monday morning, July 1, 2013 following an extended illness. Born in Lebanon, IN, she was a daughter of the late Loren & Dorothy (Crawford) Wethington. She last worked as a server for Frisch's Restaurant in Eaton. She also had formerly worked delivering newspapers for the Dayton Daily News, and had worked in the office of several trucking companies in the Dayton area. A fan of Nascar racing, Joan's favorite driver had been Dale Earnhart, Sr. She enjoyed assembling jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo at the American Legion and VFW in Eaton, a former league bowler in Eaton, and former member of the Moose Lodge. Survived by husband Loren W. Wilkinson, Jr: son & daughter-in-law Greg & Amy Wilkinson of Eaton: granddaughters Erika and Sydney Wilkinson: sisters Patricia C. Lehunt of Eaton and Barbara Glace of St. Augustine, FL. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Loren Joe Wethington. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
