Jewel A. Moss

Jewel Annabell Moss, age 96, died at St. Leonard's Nursing and Rehab Center on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Originally from Anson, TX, she spent her later adult life living in Farmersville, OH where she enjoyed being with her family members. Jewel was preceded in death by her sister, Ila Jo Emrick, and by her brother-in-law, William Emrick, both of Farmersville, and by her parents, Rice and Ida Mae (Bennett) Moss of Anson, TX. She is survived by her three nieces and a nephew Janie (Rob Flynn) Kesling, Nicholas Emrick, Linda (Jim) Sexton and Dee (Michael) Chesney, as well as her great nieces and nephews Darren Kesling; Cassie, Kelly and Chelsie Sexton; Jason, Devin and Lindsay Holt; and Jordan Chesney. She was also blessed with five great-great nieces, Hailey Crothers, Rose Ruxer, Cora Sexton, Izra Woodie, and Kylie Holt and with a great-great nephew, Jayden Holt. Jewel enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid shopper and gardener. She also enjoyed browsing at garage sales and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmersville and the Farmersville Homemakers Club. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
