Janice M. Whited

Janice M. Whited, 83, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, May 4, 2018. Janice was born on August 30, 1934 in New Castle, IN, she was the daughter of the late Max and Kathryn (Swoveland) Bond. She had worked for the Dayton Newspapers for over 15 years and retired in the early 1980's as a supervisor in the Customer Service Department. She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church of New Lebanon and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by beloved husband Jim Whited on January 18, 2008 and brother Phillip Bond. Survived by children Kathryn M. York of New Lebanon and Robert Anthony Hesler of Euless, TX; John (Bonnie) Whited of West Chester, OH; Cindy (Jason) Shoemaker of Indiana, and Tom (Tracy) Whited of Dayton; grandchildren Caleb Bryant, Emily Smith, Allison Dietz, Nicholas Hesler, Brianna Dupont, Lindsey (Brian) Kaufman, Sara Ratliff, Jeff Center and Shawn Center; brother Allen Bond of Winter Garden, FL; along with dear friend Charlotte Sizemore of New Lebanon. A memorial service for Janice will be held at 7:30 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the New Lebanon United Methodist Church - 2040 W. Main St. - New Lebanon. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L.
