Janice was an avid reader and spent countless hours lost in the pages of her favorite books. Her love for literature knew no bounds and she could often be found with a book in hand, whether at home or on the go. Her favorite book of all was the Bible, which she cherished and studied every day. Her unwavering faith and devotion to God was the cornerstone of her life and she was an inspiration to all who knew her. As a mother, Janice always put her children first and made sure that they had everything they needed. She was a praying mom who knew the power of prayer and would often pray for her children and grandchildren, as well as anyone else in need. Her prayers were a source of comfort and strength for all those who received them. In addition to being a devoted mother and grandmother, Janice was also a fantastic cook. Her biscuits and gravy and BLT sandwiches were famous in the community and she loved nothing more than sharing her southern hospitality with others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eaton and was an active participant in the church community. Janice's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and her face would light up whenever she talked about them. She was a constant source of love and support for them, and her legacy of love will live on in their hearts forever.
