James S. Clark, Sr., 83, of Arcadia, Florida, and formerly of Germantown and Farmersville, OH, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016. He was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Dayton, Ohio, and moved to this area in 2003, from Germantown, Ohio. James retired from General Motors, Plant Security. He was a life member of the V.F.W., and Mason Lodge No. 98 F&AM in Miamisburg, Ohio. He served in the Navy from 1950 to 1954. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Monita; daughters, Debra A. (Kenneth) Owens, Donita R (John) Field, Shelly L (Brett) Botkin; son, James S. (Theresa) Clark Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig A. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
