It is with great sadness that the family of Jacqueline E. Schleiger (Shalimar, FL) announce her passing on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the age of 88.

Jackie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Beth (Richard) Cornett; sister, Judy Flora; grandchildren, Joshua (Laura) Cornett, Jacob Cornett, Jeremy Hodapp, Megan Hodapp, Joseph Hodapp, Zachary Hodapp, Kiley (Blake) Holp, Curtis Schleiger II, Justin E. Schleiger, Shane Horner, and Michael Horner; great grandchildren, Karysta (Preston) Pietrzak, Kelsey Holsapple, Tristan Davis, Malakii Holthouse, Jeremy Hodapp Jr, Shauna Baxley, Briena Hodapp, Zachary Hodapp II, Justin X. Schleiger, Curtis C. Schleiger, Cami Schleiger, Coralynn Holp, Elijah Horner, Jordan Horner, and Peyton Horner; and great-great granddaughter, Aurora Pietrzak.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Paul Chowning; brother, Charles Chowning; and two children, Curtis D. Schleiger and Jennifer Hodapp.

Jackie was born and raised in Ohio where she had 3 children and many loving grandchildren. She worked and retired at Parker Hannifin in Eaton Ohio in 1996. She loved seeing and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She also loved to spend her free time doing crossword puzzles and catching up on some of her favorite TV shows.

A visitation will be held at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria 45381 on Friday, January 7, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
