Jackson "Jack" W. Sizemore 74, of West Alexandria, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2021. He was born April 14, 1946 in Lewisburg, Ohio to the late George and Dorothy (Lipscomb) Sizemore. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Georgia Rhea Gutman; and brothers, Larry Sizemore and Gentry Sizemore. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Joyce Sizemore; children, Tammy (Dustin) Vorhis, Denise Haynes, and Steve (Kelly) Haynes; grandchildren, Sydney and Seth Vorhis, and Joshua, Taryn, and Shelby Haynes; siblings, Dorothy Alice Walters and Sherman "Skip" Padget; numerous nieces and nephews; and many more family members and friends. Jack was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post #322. He retired from Dow Chemical Company in April 2009 after 19 ½ years of service, was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed watching football. The family will receive friends Friday, January 22 from 12-2PM at ROBERT L. CROOKS FUNERAL CENTER-3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria. The funeral service will begin at 2PM with Pastor Dustin Vorhis officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center, West Alexandria.
