Israel Bowlin

Israel Bowlin, age 74 of West Alexandria, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday August 6, 2017 at Heartland of Miamisburg, in Miamisburg, Ohio. Born on October 24, 1942 in Jellico, TN; he was one of 12 children born to the late George & Ella (Bray) Bowlin. Israel retired from General Motors after working there for over 35 years. He enjoyed riding 4- Wheelers, watching Nascar and Sprint races; spending time with his family, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by siblings Bessie Tidwell; Blance Kitts; Launa Scalise; Nevada Bowlin; Jack Bowlin; Carl "Bo" Bowlin; Curt Bowlin; George "June" Bowlin. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol (Huff) Bowlin: sons Daryl Bowlin of Eaton; Dean Bowlin of Kentucky; Doyle & Beverly Bowlin of Eaton: siblings Jeanette Lindsey; Janie Mattie; Rollie Bowlin: grandsons Doyle Bowlin, Jr.; Rodney Bowlin; Kyle Bowlin: great-grandchildren Trinity Bowlin; Caden Bowlin: as well as many more family members and friends.
