Ina Doles-Gambill

Ina R. Doles-Gambill, age 74, of Eaton, OH and formerly of New Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully Friday evening, November 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Born June 27, 1936 in Richmond, VA, she was a daughter of the late William J. & Bertha J. (Poff) Chandler. She retired in 2001 after 17 + years with K & B Mold in Brookville, OH. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she remained a faithful Christian throughout her life. Member of Higher Heights Church of God in Camden, OH. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Donald D. Doles on April 21, 1990; brothers and sisters Samuel Chandler, Dollie Brown, Georgie Chandler and Frankie Bryington. Survived by husband Bronston "Bill" Gambill whom she married August 8, 1994: children Deborah L. Shepherd & husband Rick of Eaton; Timothy D. Doles & wife Sherry of Brookville; and Rebecca D. Williams & husband Doug of Louisville, KY: grandchildren Denny R. Shepherd & wife Sarah, Derick Shepherd & wife Rebecca, Anthony Shepherd & wife Brittany, Jeremy D. Doles, Joshua Eli Doles, Jordyn Nicole Doles, Tyler Douglas Williams, Zachary Scott Williams: great grandchildren Bailey Shepherd, Ashton Shepherd, Beau Shepherd, Carson Shepherd, Lily Shepherd, Caden Shepherd and Parker Shepherd: step children Gary Gambill & wife Deborah of Colorado; Rhonda McIntosh & husband Larry of Farmersville, OH; Jackie Gambill of Brookville; Douglas Gambill of Dayton, OH; Ricky Gambill of Beavercreek, OH; Kimberly M. Gambill of Gratis, OH; and Timothy Gambill of Eaton: numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren: sisters Betty Jo Smith, Kate Chandler, Jenny Belle Dickinson and Greta Faye Killion. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Son-in-law, Pastor Rick Shepherd to officiate. Friends may call on the family from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
