Holly R. Benson

Holly R. Benson, 47, of Union, OH entered into eternity on Thursday morning, March 3, 2016 following a lengthy illness. Born August 4, 1968, she is the daughter of Ron & Shirley (Gregory) Graves. Earlier in life, she attended Northmont High School in Englewood. Holly loved to ride Harley's with both Tim and Tom and had attended Ginghamsburg Church of Tipp City. Preceded in death on May 20, 2011 by husband Timothy D. Benson, whom she married June 6, 2009: brother Ronnie Graves on December 30, 1992: maternal grandparents Amon & Vera Gregory: and paternal grandparents Charles & Loretta Sweet. Holly will forever be in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. Survived by daughter Sarah (Patrick) Blaze & husband JD of Columbus, IN; son Christopher Patrick of Union: parents Ron & Shirley Graves of Edgewater, FL: grandson Amon Blaze: fiancé Tom Duncan of Dayton, OH: brother Craig Graves & his wife Lisa of New Smyrna, FL, along with their children Alexandra and Justin: Ronnie's daughter Kylie Lovejoy & husband Jessie along with their daughter Emma Jo: special cousin Tonya Peak Mustacato: numerous aunts, uncles and cousins: and her beloved dogs Izzy, Shadow and Georgio. A service to remember and honor Holly's life will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Family friend Pastor Chris Thompson will officiate. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial of her cremated remains next to husband Tim will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assn.
