Herman Baker

Herman E. Baker, age 86, of Eaton, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning December 14, 2010. Born January 30, 1924 in Brookville, OH, he was a son of the late William L. & Sylvia M. (Shell) Baker. Mr. Baker served in the US Army in WW II from 1944 - 1946. He retired after 28 years as a truck driver for IRC & D Motor Freight. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Joyce Margaret (Glowe) Baker on November 4, 2006: son James Baker: and sisters Mildred Izor and Doris Izor. Survived by son Donald Baker of Eaton; daughter Bonnie George of Dayton, OH: step sons Leonard Burrell and Anthony Hassellman both of Eaton: step daughter Juanita Eades of Xenia, OH: 17 grandchildren: 11 great grandchildren: 3 daughters-in-law: and 2 sons-in-law. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday, December 18, 2010 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
