Helen G. Evans

Helen G. Evans, age 79 of Richmond, Indiana passed away Sunday evening October 4, 2015 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. Born in Morgan County, KY on October 11, 1935 she was a daughter to the late Chandler and Mary (Fugette) Perry. Helen retired after working over 23 years at Henny Penny doing various jobs including fabrication, wiring and assembly. She loved to camp, garden, crochet, and read; she was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with her family. She will truly be missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William R. Evans, Jr in 2005: son William R. Evans III in 2015 : step- mother Pearl Hash Perry: siblings Jewel Amyx, Ella Fyffe and Donald Perry. Helen is survived by her daughter Kimberly Annette Evans-Grassa of Richmond: daughter-in-law Emma Turpin of Richmond: grandchildren Heather (Jeff) Planalp of Nobelsville, TN; Tiffani Gallimore of Kettering, OH and Stephanie Gallimore & boyfriend Paul Cabaniss of New Paris, OH: great-grandchildren Morgan, Madelynn and Peyton Planalp; Sebastion, Eliot and Olivia Neises; Kayli and Kaleb Rose, and Emma Orzechowski: as well as numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
