Harold L. Hart

Harold L. Hart, 86, of Jackson Twp., Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday evening, June 7, 2016. Mr. Hart was a lifelong resident of Eaton, born August 12, 1929 to the late Walter & Flora (Marshall) Hart. He was a 1948 graduate of Eaton High School and was proud to have played on the 1948 State Championship Mens Basketball Team. A lifelong member of the Southwest Ohio Council of Carpenters, he actively worked for 30+ years as both a carpenter and project supervisor. Mr. Hart was also a farmer in Jackson Twp. for most of his life. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in West Alexandria. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Loren Hart and sister Kathleen Garrett. Survived by beloved wife of nearly 66 years Barbara L. (Wysong) Hart whom he married June 24, 1950: son Jan Hart of West Alexandria: daughter Gail Mardell Young & husband David of Natchitoches, LA: grandson David C. Young, IV of New Orleans: and sister Pauline Lacey of Eaton. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Arrangements entrusted to the Robert L.
