Glen K. Royer, 90, of Eaton, OH, passed away Tuesday morning, September 29, 2020. Born April 23, 1930 in West Manchester, he was the son of the late Jesse Omar and Mary Barbara (Kessler) Royer. Glen served with the US Army from 1951 - 1953, spending nearly 16 months in Germany. After his military service, he worked as a roofer for Nick Thompson Roofing. He then worked for approximately 10 years as a butter maker for the Eldorado Creamery, and finished his working career retiring from Landmark Grain after many years of service. He served as a coach for youth baseball in Eldorado and was a member of American Legion Post #245 of New Madison and was a member of the First Universalist Church Eldorado. In addition to his parents, Glen is preceded in death on May 18, 2000 by beloved wife Mary Roberta (Emery) Royer, whom he married January 2, 1959; brothers and sister Charles Royer in 1986, Willard Royer in 2012, Jennette Hawkey in 1996; and niece Bonnie Green in 2018. Glen is survived by nieces and nephew Donna Zamber of Carmel, IN, Becky Royer Yount and husband Dan of Eldorado, and Jim Royer and wife Natalie of New Madison; and many great nieces and nephews on both his and Mary's sides of the family. The family is planning a private graveside service at Preble Memory Gardens where Glen will be laid to rest with Mary. Pastor Kathy Brawley will preside. Military honors will also be provided to honor his military service. Memorial contributions to the First Universalist Church of Eldorado. Arrangements entrusted to Robert L.
