Gladys F. Shiverdecker, 92, of Englewood, OH and formerly of Brookville and New Lebanon, OH, passed away Wednesday evening, January 31, 2018. Born May 16, 1925 in Brookville, she was the youngest of 11 children born to the late Frank Joshua and Elizabeth (Lange) Rhoades. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Brookville and member of the Dayton Hockey Booster Club. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by beloved husband Robert Shiverdecker on November 24, 2000; brothers Orville, Herbert and Roy Rhoades; sisters Freda Heck, Edna Ullery, Goldie Hoke, Glenna Sink, Florence Fryman and Dorothy and Helen Rhoades. She is survived by daughters Sandy K. and Barb S. Shiverdecker, both of Englewood, OH along with numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of Brookhaven for their excellent care. Friends may call on the family from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Robert L.
