Gerald "Jerry" Christian

Gerald M. "Jerry" Christian, age 58, of West Alexandria, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday afternoon, September 21, 2010 following a lengthy illness. Born January 18, 1952 in Fayetteville, WV, Jerry served with the US Army from 1972 - 1974. He was a retired truck driver having worked for Barnets Mill in Camden. Member of the F.O.E. 2202 of Eaton, American Legion Post 322 of West Alexandria and VFW Post 1577 of Eaton. Preceded in death by parents Wendell F. Christian and Cora M. (Blofeld) Karns: and sister Mary Goddard. Survived by children Ben Christian of Camden, OH and Amber Browning & husband Chris of Eaton: grandchildren Zac Christian of Indianapolis and Nora Browning of Eaton: brothers and sister Bud Christian of Phillipsburg; Rich (Marlene) Christian of Kettering; John (Kay) Christian of Yellow Springs; Dave Christian of Englewood; Bernie Christian of Vandalia; Lilly Doss of AL; and Bill (Ronda) Christian of West Milton: numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, September 25 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
