George E. Aldora Sr.

George E. Aldora, Sr. 78, of West Manchester, OH, passed away Monday morning, September 21, 2015 at his home. Born May 12, 1937, he was a son of the late John & Dorothy (King) Aldora. He retired in 1998 after 38 years with Chemineer, Inc. in Dayton. George was a simple and quiet man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and the OSU Buckeyes. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 4 grandchildren: brothers Charles and John Aldora: and sister Catherine Apple. Survived by his wife of 60 years Dixie L. (Ullery) Aldora: children George E. Aldora, Jr. & wife Ginger of West Manchester; Tina Endicott of Arcanum ,OH; Tracy Aldora & wife Patricia of Greenville, OH; Anthony Aldora & wife Kristina of St. Mary's, OH; and Carol Green & husband Gerald, Jr. of West Milton, OH: 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren: sister Shirley Beard of West Milton. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH.
