Gary Lee Mcmurray

Gary Lee McMurray, 56, of Eaton, OH, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, November 4, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born June 18, 1958, he was a son of the late Leroy & Mary (Faulkner) McMurray. Gary was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Gratis, OH; was a model train enthusiast and had earned his flight license for powered parachute. He also enjoyed playing guitar. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers and sister Tom, Bill, Steve and Lucille. Survived by wife Lorna K. (Riley) McMurray whom he married July 15, 1983: daughters Rebecca McMurray of Brookville, OH and Valerie McMurray of Eaton: brothers and sisters Danny McMurray of Centerville, OH; Roger Smith of Camden, OH; Betty Bennett of West Alexandria, OH; William Smith of Eaton; Martha Taylor of Marble Hill, MO; Jewel McMurray and Nelson McMurray both of West Alexandria: and a host of other family and friends. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Pendleton presiding.
