Dorothy (Watson) Fugate

Dorothy M. (Watson) Fugate, age 78 of New Lebanon, OH, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, July, 14, 2010. Dorothy was born May 13, 1932 in Irving, Kentucky. Dorothy was retired from Clifton Shirt Company with 25 years of service as a seamstress, and was a member of The Brethren Church of New Lebanon since 1974. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to travel and one of her favorite places was the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husband Charles A. Fugate on March 1, 1992: parents Benjamin & Nannie (Patrick) Watson: sister Hazel Willowby (Watson), Elsie Fugate, and brother Gene Watson. Dorothy is survived by her son and daughter in law, David & Diane Fugate of Union; son Donald Fugate of New Lebanon; daughter & son in law, Denise and Tim Hammonds of Eaton: sister Felcie Muncie of New Lebanon; Ruby Flanary of Dayton: brother Howard Watson of Dayton; grandchildren Holly Duncan & husband Jason, Benjamin, Amy, and Rachel: great grandchildren Ashlynn, Brenna, Savannah, and Zoe. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday July 16, 2010 at Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Officiating Charles Wiltrout, and Pastor Bill Walk. Interment will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday.
