Doris A. Beare

Doris A. Beare, 84, of Eaton and formerly of New Lebanon, passed away Monday evening July 13, 2020. Born January 22, 1936, she is a daughter of the late Roy C. and Viola Pearl (Brackney) Huber. A 1954 graduate of Dayton Roosevelt High School, she went on to work for the SS Kresge Store at the Westown Plaza in Dayton, Gold Circle in Trotwood, the Miller Egg Ranch in New Lebanon, and retired in1989 after 14 years in food service with New Lebanon Public Schools. She was a member of the Eaton First Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers and sister George Huber, Harvey Huber, Roland "Bill" Huber and Loretta Lucas. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Doris was devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Edgar L. Beare, whom she married July 20, 1956; children Kirk Beare and wife Nedra of Eaton, Donald Beare and wife Anita of New Lebanon, Randy Beare and wife Lauree of Union and Honey "Missy" Kelly and husband Andy of Brookville; grandchildren Ashley Meek, Benjamin Beare, Amy Pence, Nathaniel Beare, Andrew Beare, Kacey Kelly and Kara Jennings; great grandchildren Wyatt, Isabella, Emma, Olivia, Evelyn, Georgia, Charlie, Henry and one on the way; along with nieces, nephews and many special friends. Doris was also devoted to and loved her Lord and Savior. Her visitation and service will be held at the Eaton First Church of God. Friends may call on the family from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, July 16, 2020; and funeral services at 11:00 AM Friday. Following the service, a procession will lead to Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery where a brief closing ceremony will take place at the graveside.
