Donna M. Monahan

79, of Eaton, went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 8, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, William “Bill” Monahan; son, Steven Byrd; mom, Gerry Caserta; and sister, Winona “Winnie” Jones.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Julie (Victor III) Crainich; grandson, James Crainich; stepdaughters, Deborah Monahan, Jennifer Monahan, and Susan (George) Tolnitch; step grandson, Zachary Shock; loving companion of 6 years, Raymond Strain; and many more family and friends.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her pet dogs.  Donna had been a bank teller at Fifth Third Bank and a receptionist at AAA.  She and Ray had a relationship in which they teased, laughed, and loved together and would travel to Florida and spend the winters.  She will be missed.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 22 from 11AM to 1PM at PREBLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL CENTER, 3377 US Route 35 East, West Alexandria.  The Memorial Service will begin at 1PM with Pastor Jeff Travis officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
