Donald E. Fogt Sr.

Donald E. Fogt, Sr., age 71, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away Tuesday morning, December 31, 2013 following a lengthy illness. Born in Dayton, OH, he was a son of the late Calvin P. & Genevieve M. (Scollay) Fogt. He enjoyed life, participating in many different ventures over the years. Don retired in 1999 as a forklift operator from the Moraine Truck & Bus Plant where he was known by many as "Shorty". He was a Ham radio operator for many years with the call sign of kg4ncz, and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Ruskin, FL. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Thomas Fogt. Survived by wife of 52 years Connie B. (Stiver) Fogt: children Donald E. Fogt, Jr. of Camden, OH; Kevin W. & Nora Fogt of Eaton, OH; Chuck O. Fogt of St. Augustine, FL; and Tonya L. & David Back of Moraine, OH: grandchildren Kyle Fogt, Stephanie Fogt, Macy Fogt, Devin Fogt, Bella Fogt, Craig Fogt, Rebecca Hartman, Brandon Hartman, Travis Roark, Dylan Roark and Brandon Roark: brothers Richard Fogt of Moraine; Calvin & Janet Fogt of The Villages, FL: sister Patricia & Larry Kingery of Springboro, OH: sister-in-law Carlotta Fogt of West Carrollton, OH: and a host of other family and friends.
