Donald "Baggy," Ballangee Jr.

Donald "Baggy, Jr." Ballengee, age 60, of Lakeland, FL and formerly of West Alexandria, OH, died of cancer Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Born in Union City, IN on October 19, 1953, he was the owner of Little T's Transmission Shop in Lakeland. Mr. Ballengee was preceded in death by his wife Rowena Ballengee; son Donald Ballengee, Jr.; and sister Kate Kendal. He is survived by his daughter Angelina Newbold of Lakeland; son Gerald Ballengee of Richmond, IN; daughters Michelle Stamper of Eaton, OH; Melissa Newberry of TN: brothers Mike Ballengee of Cosmos, MN; Clarence Ballengee of Lakeland; Chuck Ballengee West Alexandria, OH; and Dickie Ballengee of Eaton, OH; sisters Nancy Spence and Becky Spitler, both of Lakeland: and 9 grandchildren. A local memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
