Dolores M. Madison

Dolores M. "Lorrie" Madison, 84, of Eaton, OH, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 19, 2017. Born January 14, 1933 in Richmond, IN, she was a daughter of the late Thermal F. and Catherine M. (Henson) Johnson. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Lorrie enjoyed being on the go, shopping and spending time with family. She volunteered at local nursing homes visiting and helping to feed residents. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by beloved husband Elmer V. Madison on March 10, 1983; brothers and sisters Delbert Johnson, Patricia "Trish" Compton, Norma Lee Shively and Paul Johnson; son-in-law John Leis; and dear friend Jack Martin. She is survived by daughters Sharon Leis of Lewisburg and Cindy Madison of Eaton; grandchildren Ivan, Brock, Ace, Angelique and Uriah; great grandchildren Devonocia, Gavin, Cassey, Cheyanne, Jorjia, Wyatt, Ronald, Caleb, Cheyanne, Aiden, Robert and Cheyanne ; along with several great great grandchildren; sister Joyce D. Hardin of Eaton; along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM followed by burial at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
