Deloris "Dottie" Seals

Deloris "Lois" "Dottie" Seals, of West Alexandria, OH and formerly of New Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, September 26, 2011 following an extended illness. Born in Martin Co., KY she was a daughter of the late James & Lavilla (Pack) Delong. Lois was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She also was a huge fan of Elvis and loved to play bingo. Dottie attended the First Baptist Church in New Lebanon; had formerly worked at Sunshine Biscuit, Wonderbread, New Lebanon Schools and Findlay Industries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Mary Jane Crisp, Tucker Delong, Alice Ramey, Eddie Delong, Loretta Branham and Willie "Bill" Delong. Survived by husband, companion and friend Fred Seals whom she married December 7, 1957: daughters Debbie Seals of Nashville, TN; and Penny Lane & husband Edd of Camden, OH: grandchildren Ashley Dawkins of West Alexandria, Philip William Drew Dawkins, serving with the US Navy in Bremerton, WA; and Amy Renee Dawkins of Camden: 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren: sisters Clara Branham of Paulding, OH and Angie Harless of Inez, KY: special cousin Mary French: numerous nieces and nephews: and a host of friends. Funeral services 11:00 AM Friday September 30, 2011 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria.
