Deborah K. Napier,

Age 71, of Richmond, IN. went to be with her husband on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She was born on September 3, 1950 to Leo and Ginny Scott in Richmond, IN.

Deborah loved to sew and when she was younger would not only make her own clothes, but also her family’s clothes. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed crocheting and Garfield the cat. Often times when you would stop over to visit you would find her watching her true crime shows, listening to country music and doing some form of needlework. Roses were her favorite flowers, especially if they were red or blue. She will be truly missed by those who loved and knew her.

Deborah is preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Jerry, her parents, a brother; Danny Scott, Brother in law; Barry Routzahn, and her special Aunt Dottie. She leaves behind her two daughters; Missy (Bobby) Wysong and Teresa (Cobie) Barnes, her 4 grandchildren; Heather (Cody) Ladd, Clinton (Lindsey) Lipscomb, Tuesday (Tyler) Tackett, and Dylan Bales, her great grandchildren; Aliyah & Alivia Ladd, Wyatt, Tylynn, Daisy & Ryver Tackett, Sebastian, Marceline & Lucian James and Amelia Lipscomb due in October, her siblings; Sharon Routzahn, Don (Penny) Scott and Gary-Lee (Karie) Scott, a sister-in-law; Pat Scott, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, her step-mom; Peg Scott and her two precious fur babies; Snowman and Yeti.

A visitation will be held at PREBLE MEMORY GARDEN FUNERAL CENTER on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral for Deborah will start promptly at 1:00PM with Spiritualists Joyce Mitchell and Harley Schultz officiating. Her burial at Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery to follow.
